As a format designer, you will be responsible for processing customer-specific feeder format parts and tools for packaging machines. You create the conditions for a smooth mechanical installation of the format parts. With your expertise, you will ensure that our products comply with current standards and guidelines.
Tasks:

- Design of format sets for tools and feeders for Uhlmann packaging machines based on reference parts lists and templates
- Creating boom of material for format parts and manufacturing drawings
- Implementing change designs for tools, tool sets and feeders for new machines and aftersales business
- Design of packing drawings
- Identification and surface measuring of product contact parts
- Maintenance of assemblies, parts and documents
Required knowledge:

- Very good 3D CAD knowledge
- Experience with 3D-SolidWorks
- Tool design, feeding format design
- Knowledge of MS Office
- SAP knowledges are advantageous
- KnowHow of the pharmaceutical packaging processes
Qualification / degree:

- Technician / Bachelor / Master in mechanical engineering/mechatronics
Competencies:

- Very good English speaking skills, knowledge of German is an advantage

- Good communication skills
- Team-oriented, as well as goal-oriented, analytical way of working
Willingness to travel:
- First training 3 months in Laupheim with breaks for HomeOffice; later ca. 2 weeks all 3 months in Laupheim
